From the current fiscal year, to receive 39 types of government and private services, an annual income tax return or return must be submitted. In addition, these services must be received by showing proof of return submission.

If someone does not show proof of return submission while receiving these services, the officials and employees of the concerned organization will not provide the service. If they provide services for any reason, there is also a provision to take punitive action against these officials and employees.

For several years, it has been mandatory to show proof of return submission in some government and private services. In the current fiscal year, 13 types of services have been excluded from the list of these services. Now let’s see, to receive which services, proof of return submission must be shown.

1. To take a loan of more than 20 lakh taka;

2. To become a director or sponsor shareholder of a company;

3. To obtain or renew an import registration certificate or export registration certificate;

4. To renew a trade license in a city corporation or municipality area;

5. To renew a general insurance listed surveyor license;

6. To register the sale or lease or transfer of land, building or apartment in the areas of City Corporation, Municipality and Cantonment Board or to register a deed or power of attorney;

7. To renew the membership of any recognized professional body as a doctor, dentist, lawyer, chartered accountant, cost and management accountant, chartered secretary, lawyer and tax lawyer, actuary, engineer, architect, surveyor;

8. To obtain or renew the license as a Nikah Registrar under the Muslim Marriage and Divorce (Registration) Act, 1947, a Hindu Marriage Registrar under the Hindu Marriage Registration Act, 2012 and a Registrar under the Special Marriage Act, 1872;

9. To obtain or renew the membership of a trade body or any commercial organization;

10. To renew the license as a vendor of stamps, court fees and cartridge paper or a document writer;

11. Obtaining and renewing drug licenses, fire licenses, environmental clearance certificates, BSTI licenses, bonded waterhouse licenses, customs agent licenses, freight forwarding licenses and buying house registrations;

12. Obtaining and maintaining commercial and industrial gas connections in any area:

15. Obtaining and renewing survey certificates for any type of hired vessels including launches, steamers, fishing trawlers, cargo, coasters, dumb-barges;
